PhysicsWeb Resources: – news, views and information for the global physics community from IOP Publishing

This book is a valuable resource for introducing chemistry and physics to your students. The worksheets included offer practice on metrics, graphing, motion, machines, the periodic table, formulas and equations, light, electricity, and much more. Your students will build a strong foundation in science and be better prepared to study chemistry and physics once completing this book.

This interactive workshop (supported by the Institute of Physics) looks at the Physics, such as speed, forces and light and sound, behind four sports activities. The students collate their results which they then utilise, together with the information on the worksheets, to answer a series of tiered questions at the end of the session.

This is a resource for students currently attending Los Angles Mission College.  This site is to assist those student who are attending the classes offered by Professor Mallory.  Any comments or questions can be sent to:

Teacher King is a record of one teacher's thoughts, feelings, and experiences as he follows his pursuit of continuous education. The homepage will be dedicated to current events, either news or personal.  Subsequent pages will reflect material for the different classes Teacher King teaches.  Feel free to collect, alter, and use the material for your own personal use.  As Teacher King is only in his second year of teaching, please don't expect the highest of quality yet.

Creationism Versus is the Last year, some scientists were surprised to learn from press reports that the Kansas State Board of Education voted to remove Big Bang cosmology, as well as biological evolution, from the required public school curriculum. This should be a wake-up call to alert everyone that all of science education is threatened by the political power of Creationism, even if the latest Kansas election result leads to a reversal of the 1999 decision.
